Longstaff’s Family Bakers is a true local bakery – it has been located in Newgate Street in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, since 1994.
In 2010 we moved across the street to our current location. We added a coffee shop to our services offered, allowing our customers to relax with a hot drink whilst eating a sweet or savoury treat.
Government regulations and customer safety meant we had to close the coffee shop portion of the bakery during the Coronavirus pandemic, starting in 2020. Thankfully we were still able to provide freshly baked bread, pies, pastries, cakes and more, throughout the pandemic.
In late 2021 we completed a re-fit of the shop, giving it the look and feel you’ll find today!
